. >>pam: tonight a community mourns the life of a diablo valley college student who lost his life in a traffic collision. police are still investigating the accident that killed 21 year old scott hickerson. kron4's maureen kelly shows us what is known so far. >> i'm standing on the corner of monument blvd and erickson road.you can see behind me the memorial of flowers and signs and photos of the young man that marks the spot near where he was struck. people have left notes that read you will not be forgotten and skate in heaven.referring to the victim's love of skateboarding. police say scott hickerson was on his skateboard as he crossed the sidewalk right over there.at around 4:30 friday evening. he was in that crosswalk when he was hit by a suv driven by a 21 year old clayton woman traveling eastbound on monument blvd. the victim landed here in the intersection. he was transported to john muir hospital where he died of his injuries. police are still talking to witnesses and are trying to determine who had the green light. although i spoke with a witness who did not want to appea

this time of national mourning. over at walmart, they're no longer advertising the bushmaster ar-15, that's the one used in the newtown shooting. they're no longer advertising that weapon on the web. but what walmart does say is you can still buy it at select locations. keep in mind, walmart is one of the biggest gun dealers in the world. and high capacity magazines and guns like semi-automatic military style rifles, they are the fastest growing part of the market. just looking at walmart's website, there are hundreds of weapons listed on there. the bushmaster ar-15 is no longer listed on bass pro shop's site either but you can view it on cabellias. retailers wanting to distance themselves from the tragedy and that's why they're making the changes, don. >> allison, gunmaker stocks tumbling today? >> they are. we're seeing several shares falling. gun stocks. anywhere from 8% to 10%. the big worry here is that not only will you see big regulations go on guns, but people will start to shy away from buying them as well. as far as investors feel as far as because of the tragedy that happened.
conditions improve. >> in an antioch community in mourning the death of a man shot dead in from his home over the weekend. >> last night, friends and family of 43 year-old aaron williams came out for a candlelight vigil to remember williams. police say williams was gunned down in front of his home in the 23rd hundred block of companionway just after 1037 night. friends of the victims say they have a message for whoever is response before his death. >> this was a tragedy. >> so far no arrests have been made in the case anyone with information is encouraged call police. >> a 14 year old walt recovering after being stabbed at san jose's christmas event in the part of it. police said three suspected gang members attacked the teen stabbing him at least once near a carnival near park avenue. the boy's injuries were not life-threatening. he was treated at a local hospital. witnesses say the suspect ran away. police say it doesn't appear the victims or suspects in each other. despite the stabbing, family still turn out over the weekend to enjoy christmas and the part. >> i feel sorry for the kids get
